Is Ketamine-Assisted Therapy
Right for Me?
Ketamine-assisted therapy is a structured, medically supervised process. It is not a quick fix. Ketamine-assisted therapy can be a powerful tool for certain mental health, insight and personal growth goals—but it isn’t for everyone. Here’s a guide to see if you might be a fit. There are no guaranteed outcomes, as every individual is unique.
This page is intended to help you decide whether requesting a consultation at Stillwater Wellness may be a good next step.
Who Can Benefit
This May Be a Good Fit If You:
Are seeking a therapeutic process, not a one-time experience
Are willing to engage in preparation and integration sessions
Feel emotionally stuck, constrained, or disconnected despite prior treatment. Evidence suggests Ketamine Assisted therapy is helpful for Chronic, treatment-resistant depression (unipolar or bipolar) and PTSD, and emerging evidence suggests it may be helpful in many more aspects of mental health.
Are curious about ketamine-assisted psychotherapy within a medical and therapeutic framework
Are psychologically stable and able to reflect on your inner experience
Want a careful, supported approach, rather than rapid or symptom-only treatment
You do not need prior psychedelic experience.
This May Not Be a Good Fit If You:
Are seeking emergency or crisis mental health care
Want ketamine without therapy, preparation, or follow-up
Are looking for guaranteed outcomes or rapid transformation
Have active substance use concerns that are not being addressed
Are experiencing acute psychiatric instability
Are not open to medical and psychological screening
